Trip Summary:
We will spend the first 2 nights in fabulous and vibrant centre of Havana.
We then head south eastwards to the central coast and the beautifulColonial City on the bay - Cienfuegos.  After 2 nights here we cut back inland to the city of Santa Clara, home to the Che Guervara Memorial.

Our trip then continues eastwards through Camaguey and Holguin, onto the picturesque city of Baraccoa on the north coast. We are now right down in the South Eastern end of Cuba.  After spending a couple of days here we will head to Santiago de Cuba. This exciting and lively city is nestled between the Sierra Maestra Mountains and the Caribbean Sea.
We have 3 nights here, to soak up the city and its rhythms.  We will also head up into the Sierra Maestra Mountains for a day.  To round off our trip, we'll take an evening flight from Santiago back to Havana and pass our final two nights here.

Day 3 -Tuesday 2nd June '09
Early morning in Havana, leave just before lunchtime and drive to Cienfeguos.  Early evening shoot in Cienfeugos.  1st night Hotel La Union.

Day 5 -Thursday 4th June '09 Leave Cienfeguos after breakfast and drive to the city Santa Clara. Home to the Che Guevara Memorial. 1 night Hotel la Granjita B/B

Day 6 -Friday 5th June '09 Early morning shoot in Santa Clara then make the journey eastwards to
Camaguey.  Arrive Camaguey in the late afternoon, in time for a shoot in

Day 7 -Saturday 6th June '09
Leave Camaguey, continue eastwards through the centre of Cuba to Holguin.
From here we head north to the coast – stay one night Cayo Saetia

Leave Cayo Saetia and drive to Baraccoa – 1st night Hotel El Castillo B/B

Leave Baraccoa drive south, crossing the mountains and down to

N.B Flights –
The price excludes International Flights.  The itinerary has been written to accord with the Virgin Atlantic direct flight service from the UK(operating on a Sunday), but there are also alternatives in the form of Iberia and Air France who offer flights daily. I can also advise on alternative routes from anywhere outside the UK.
